Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.14% in January 17–Monday
MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation slowed down to 0.14% from January 17 through Monday from 0.15% in the previous week, and reached 0.53% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The prices for buckwheat fell by 1%, for sugar by 0.5%. The prices for fruit children’s preserves grew by 0.6%.
The prices for fruit and vegetables grew by 3% on average. The price for cucumbers increased by 6.3%, for onions by 5.3%, for carrots 3.1%.
The diesel fuel prices remained unchanged, the gasoline prices grew by 0.02%.
